With the "Smart ID Check" app, retailers / shops can quickly and easily read eID identification documents that can be automatically read, such as the German ID card or the electronic residence permit. The data read out in this way is then automatically transmitted to the further processing system for the necessary legitimation of prepaid SIM cards from Telekom Deutschland GmbH & congstar GmbH.
